A stunning holiday wreath-shaped charcuterie board that looks like you spent hours on it but takes only 20 minutes to assemble. Perfect for feeding a crowd of 8-12 with zero stress and endless customization options.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4–5 large fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 3–4 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 10 fresh sage leaves
  • Optional: small bay leaves or fresh oregano
  • 8 ounces Brie wheel (double-cream variety recommended)
  • 6 ounces aged cheddar block (sharp, crumbly variety like Cabot or Kerrygold)
  • 4 ounces goat cheese log (creamy, spreadable Chevre)
  • 4 ounces Manchego or Gouda
  • 4–6 ounces prosciutto (thinly sliced, torn into ribbons)
  • 4 ounces Genoa salami (cut into thin rounds or half-moons)
  • 3 ounces pepperoni or soppressata
  • 2 cups crackers and bread (mix of water crackers, pita chips, and sliced baguette)
  • 1/4 cup fig jam or honey
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries
  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup fresh grapes or apple slices
  • Optional: chocolate-covered almonds or dark chocolate squares

Instructions

  1. Place your board on a clean, flat surface. Optionally line with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Arrange rosemary, thyme, and sage sprigs in a large circle around the outer edge of the board, creating a ring about 2-3 inches wide. Overlap herbs slightly to cover the board.
  3. Cut brie into wedges or leave whole and place in one section of the wreath. Place goat cheese log opposite the brie. Arrange cheddar and manchego in wedges or cubes around the circle, spacing evenly at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions.
  4. Fold prosciutto slices into loose ribbons or rosettes and place in clusters near cheeses. Fold salami slices into quarters or half-moons and fan out in small groups. Place pepperoni in small piles throughout the wreath.
  5. Place small clusters of crackers in gaps between cheese and meat. Put water crackers near brie, pita chips near cheddar, and baguette slices near goat cheese.
  6. Place small bowls of fig jam and honey on the board, nestled into the greenery. Scatter dried cranberries, nuts, and grapes around the wreath. Tuck apple slices in various spots to fill gaps.
  7. Tuck extra rosemary sprigs into any empty spots. Sprinkle fresh cranberries or pomegranate seeds over the top for garnish.
  8. Step back and look at the board from above. Fill any bare patches with nuts or extra crackers. Spread out any clumped items so the board looks full but not crowded.

Notes

Take cheeses out of fridge 30 minutes before serving for best flavor and texture. Don’t place crackers directly under cheese wedges to prevent sogginess. The board can be assembled up to 4 hours ahead; cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate, adding crackers and fresh herbs just before serving. Leftovers can be stored separately for up to 3 days.
