This creamy, no-bake cheesecake dip combines a silky cheesecake base with chunky apple pie filling, topped with caramel sauce, toffee bits, and a pinch of flaky sea salt. It’s a quick and easy dessert perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 1 can (21 ounces) apple pie filling
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt (for topping)
  • Apple slices (for serving)
  • Graham crackers (for serving)
  • Vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies (for serving)
  • Pretzels (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Take cream cheese out of fridge at least 30 minutes before starting. If in a hurry, cut into cubes and microwave for 10-15 seconds until soft but not melted.
  2. Beat the cream cheese: Place softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Scrape down sides halfway through.
  3. Add the sugar and vanilla: Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed first, then medium for another minute until well combined and smooth.
  4. Whip the heavy cream: In a separate small bowl, beat cold heavy cream on high speed for 2-3 minutes until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold it all together: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula, using a cutting motion to keep air in the mixture.
  6. Mix in the apple pie filling: Open the can of apple pie filling and roughly chop larger apple chunks into bite-sized pieces. Fold into the cream cheese mixture gently.
  7. Add the cinnamon and nutmeg: Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the top and fold gently until just combined. Taste and adjust if needed.
  8. Chill the dip: Transfer mixture to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up and let flavors meld.
  9. Add the toppings: Just before serving, drizzle caramel sauce over the top. Sprinkle toffee bits evenly, add chopped pecans if using, and finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  10. Serve and enjoy: Arrange apple slices, graham crackers, cookies, and pretzels around the dip. Serve immediately.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps. Do not skip the whipped cream—it makes the dip light and airy. Chilling for at least 30 minutes is essential for proper texture. Toast pecans for extra flavor. Use a light hand with the flaky sea salt. The dip tastes even better the next day.
