  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 6 oz (170 g) prosciutto slices
  • 1 cup seasonal berries (blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (such as Marcona almonds or candied pecans)
  • 1 baguette or crusty bread, sliced
  • Honey or fig jam, for drizzling (optional)
  • Fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Whipped Feta (10 minutes): In a food processor, combine crumbled feta, softened cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and black pepper. Pulse until smooth and creamy. Add a teaspoon of water or more olive oil if too thick. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  2. Slice the Bread (5 minutes): Cut baguette or crusty bread into ½-inch (1.25 cm) slices. Toast lightly if desired.
  3. Arrange the Board (10-15 minutes): Place dollops of whipped feta on the board or in a small bowl. Fold or roll prosciutto slices and arrange near the feta. Distribute berries in clusters, scatter mixed nuts, tuck in bread slices, and add small bowls with honey or fig jam.
  4. Garnish and Serve (5 minutes): Sprinkle fresh herbs over the board. Serve immediately or cover loosely and refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for smooth texture. Use good quality olive oil for flavor. Don’t over-pulse feta to avoid grittiness. Fold prosciutto to keep it airy.
